The warp is sett at 10 epi with a 12/6 Cotton Seine Twine. I put on 6 yards if I like how this works out on this loom I'll be puting a much longer warp on. It's really nice to weave one panel and then just move on to the next panel with no warping up again for a while. So far the mods I spoke of yesterday to my Varpa Loom are working out great. Tension is really good and no bowing of my tie on rod anymore. My shed is huge and I'm a happy weaver right now. Who doesn't love a huge shed. That's like great chocolate or great sex to a weaver. Weavers you know I'm right! :)
Each tapestry will have 3 panels 6x17 when it's complete. Inspiration from a series of watercolor panels that I painted. I'll post more on the watercolor studies later. Well, actually they are water based pigments that you can use like watercolors or highly concentrated which is great for solid color like rich dark blacks. They can be used for silk screening too and other applications.
