Just cast on for a scarf using my hand dyed yarn "River Stone" Dk Superwash merino. The stitch is very similar to a mistake rib. The stitch is from "The New Knitting Stitch Library" Lesley Stanfield. Number 9 in the book. It's reversible and has a nice hand. I'm always looking for good reversible stitches for scarves. I use mistake rib a lot but thought I would deviate a little this time. Also wanted something simple to show off the colors in the yarn. I think it looks good so far. No color banning just a nice mix. Sometimes distinct bands of color are great but not on this project. This is going to be a shorter scarf than I normally do. Just to tuck into my coat. I'm loving the way the colors are looking so far.
