Hello people. I have just received my first order of Japanese Knitting Books. Yes, they are in Japanese but the charts are great and I want to knit some of these stitches so I'm going to give it a try. The little red book is suppose to help because it has diagrams with step by step photos of various stitches. This will be a challenge but I could not resist these books. The stitch work is amazing. The stitch book titled 250 is so beautiful every page has something wonderful on it. Very detailed and classic. Take a look. YesAsia is where I ordered from.
These books are really inspiring. I can't wait to jump
in and explore. I will need to do some major converting and drafting of charts but still just look at this lovely stitch work. The patterns are too small for my body size but that is always the case usually.
This is the little stitch book that has the diagrams. Funny cover page but don't be fooled by that. Inside there is great how to with super charts on how to make the stitches. Great resource if your going to give Japanese knitting books a try.
I also got some fun books on gloves and their in English......cool
The booklet came from LuLu the self publishing company. You can purchase the pdf for a great price and then just print it out yourself or you can have the option of buying the book and they print it for you.

I just got this book recently and so far I really like it. The new architectures for socks that she has developed are really unique. She outlines eight new architectures for socks. This is a very interesting concept. The idea that you can put your increases anywhere....you don't have to put the increases at the side gussets. This opens up the design process for some really fun ideas. She recommends that you try out some of her small sample socks to get going with this new break out of the box technique. This is the first of a series of books that she is doing on this technique.
